UNITE Project
The UNITE project, coordinated by the University of Tuscia, involves seven European institutions in a three-year initiative aimed at developing digital tools and strategies to improve the inclusion and quality of higher education. The €400,000 funding was provided under the Erasmus+ – Key Actyon KA220-HED – Partnership for Cooperation in Higher Education program.
UNITE features the participation of seven European organizations, including:
- Europass srl and Tech4All srl (Italy);
- University College Dublin (Ireland);
- University of Cordoba (Spain);
- Charles University in Prague (Czech Republic);
- Endurance (Netherlands);
- University of Lisbon (Portugal).
The main purpose is to create a network to develop services, digital tools and innovative strategies related to inclusion, digital transformation and educational quality.
Among the proposed initiatives is the innovative use of podcasts and virtual reality as teaching tools. Training courses will also be organized for teachers and students on topics related to inclusion, including gender studies, socioeconomic disparities, cultural diversity and special educational needs. Special attention will be paid to supporting the most vulnerable students through the adoption of digital tools, as well as the creation of digitized learning environments to ensure comfort and accessibility.
