{"id":2220,"date":"2022-05-31T20:34:08","date_gmt":"2022-05-31T20:34:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tech4all.ai\/non-categorizzato\/study-published-in-natures-scientific-reports-that-identifies-factors-influencing-the-academic-careers-of-college-students-with-dyslexia-in-italy\/"},"modified":"2023-12-15T18:51:18","modified_gmt":"2023-12-15T18:51:18","slug":"study-published-in-natures-scientific-reports-that-identifies-factors-influencing-the-academic-careers-of-college-students-with-dyslexia-in-italy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tech4all.ai\/en\/news-en\/study-published-in-natures-scientific-reports-that-identifies-factors-influencing-the-academic-careers-of-college-students-with-dyslexia-in-italy\/","title":{"rendered":"Study published in Nature&#8217;s Scientific Reports that identifies factors influencing the academic careers of college students with dyslexia in Italy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>With great pride we announce that the <strong>scientific study<\/strong>. <strong>\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41598-022-12985-w\">\n    <em>Clustering analysis of factors affecting academic career of university students with dyslexia in Italy<\/em>\n  <\/a>\n<\/strong> has been <strong>published in the journal Scientific Reports of Nature<\/strong>.<br\/><br\/>It was carried out by the team from the University of Tuscia in Viterbo, which includes <strong>Giuseppe Calabr\u00f2<\/strong>, <strong>Marcella Barone<\/strong>, <strong>Juri Taborri <\/strong>and <strong>Andrea Zingoni<\/strong> from <strong>our Tech4All team<\/strong>.<br\/><\/p>\n\n<p>The purpose of this study was to <strong>explore the lives and experiences of students with dyslexia <\/strong>studying in Italian universities in order to provide <strong>appropriate tools and support strategies<\/strong> that can facilitate their performance.<br\/><br\/>The results reveal the<strong>importance of early diagnosis<\/strong> and <strong>treatment of dyslexia with specific help<\/strong>, particularly that of associations of students with dyslexia.  <\/p>\n\n<p>So earlier diagnosis, treatment of dyslexia with specific help from speech therapists, psychologists, and associations, and the  <strong>Ability to compensate for dyslexia by providing appropriate equipment<\/strong>, may be the  <strong>keys to success in university studies<\/strong>  to help dyslexic students feel in control of their learning.<br\/><br\/>In addition, this study aimed to identify, through cluster analysis, <strong>which tools can be useful for the development and adaptation of educational methodologies to support<\/strong> students with dyslexia to overcome all the main difficulties encountered<\/p>\n\n<p>The results of this research are part of the <strong>European project<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/vrailexia.eu\/?lang=it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Vrailexia<\/a> and represent the roots of the development of <strong>Reasy<\/strong>, the comprehensive study support tool for every student with dyslexia.<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>For more, read the study in Scientific Reports in Nature:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41598-022-12985-w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41598-022-12985-w<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With great pride we announce that the scientific study.
